Privacy Policy

This app and website (the "Service") are operated by Envision Overseas ("Envision", "we", "us"), an overseas-education consultancy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

• Account details you provide when you sign up: name, email address, and phone/WhatsApp number.
• Profile & enquiry details you optionally provide: city, date of birth, preferred courses, study levels, destination countries, intake, and academic/finance information you share for counselling.
• Applications & appointments you create through the Service, and documents you or our team upload for your applications.
• Communications: enquiries, event/partner registrations, and messages you send us.
• Technical/usage data: basic log data (e.g. IP address, timestamps) used to operate and secure the Service.
• On-device data: your course shortlist is stored locally on your device (in your browser/app storage) and is not sent to our servers.

• To create and manage your account, and verify your WhatsApp number during sign-up (one-time password).
• To provide counselling, match you to courses/universities, and process your applications and appointments.
• To communicate with you by email and WhatsApp: confirmations, reminders, application updates, and responses to your enquiries.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the Service:

• Partner universities and institutions: when you choose to apply, we share the information required to process that application.
• Service providers that operate parts of the Service on our behalf, including Google Firebase (authentication), our email provider (transactional email), and our WhatsApp messaging provider. They process data under contract and only as instructed.
• Legal/authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

As a study-abroad service, your data may be processed in countries other than your own (including where our service providers and the institutions you apply to are located). Where required, we take steps to protect your data in connection with such transfers.

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When you delete your account (see below), we remove or anonymise your personal data; limited non-identifying records may be retained where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: open the account menu (your initial, top-right) or the Account page and choose Delete account. This removes your login and erases/anonymises your personal data (name, email, phone and profile details). The action is irreversible.

You can also request deletion by emailing enquiry@envisionoverseas.in from your registered email address.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact us at enquiry@envisionoverseas.in.

We use administrative and technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and abuse protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continuously improve our safeguards.

The Service is intended for prospective students who are able to enter into our services. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
